I’ve been meaning to do this since my show went up at Spinfluence, 123 Market St., but I unfortunately didn’t get to it until now. It’s still up, if you want to stop in and see it! The show consists of some of my favorite photos (culled from more than 800, I would have been one of those dreadful old-timey party hosts if I had a series of slides and a projector…but I digress) from an amazing vacation in France, and all pictures are for sale through Spinfluence,570-768-8303, some size variations are possible. Or you can just book a ticket to France and see all this for yourselves. Don’t hold back, lovies. You’ve only got one life.
- Paris street, Latin quarter, at night. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry over Johnny Whitepants, but he really makes this picture.
- We took the slightly longer walk home from the Metro, and came upon a small square with water-spitting dragons and groovy college kids playing guitar. Excellent! Paris.
- Venus de Milo, rock star.
- I call this “The Secrets of the Louvre”. Who knows what’s under those wraps?
- Perspective is everything. Eiffel Tower, Paris.
- If you ever wondered what the foreground statue looked like naked and headless, wonder no longer. Rodin Museum, Paris.
- George, looking somewhat stricken with awe at the Gates of Hell. Rodin Museum, Paris.
- Dog with Chalk Artist, Tours. I {{{heart}}} this dog.
- A butcher’s case full of rabbit isn’t what you find in American supermarket meat departments. Legit Butcher, Tours.
- Farmer’s Market, Tours. An extraordinary sensory feast in so many ways.
- Gardens, Chateau Chenonceau. Perfection abounds.
- I so don’t know my flowers. I think it’s a dahlia. Gardens at Chateau Chenonceau.
- Cottage, Chateau Chenonceau. My mother’s favorite picture.
- Kitchen, Chateau Chenonceau. The cook in me wants to get in there and go a little nuts… :)
- Kooky pants lady, Chateau Chenonceau. I adore her.
- Black eyed Susan, Gardens at Chateau Chenonceau.
- Chartres Cathedral. I love this lady, both because she is so intent on what she’s doing and because she reminds me of my boyfriend’s mom.
- Bride & Groom, Place de la Concorde, Paris. If I were the marrying type, it would be here, as well. Good luck, you two!
- Crispy Vespa, Paris. Note that it’s still bolted to the post.
- Wine Bar, Paris. Right near the Bastille. And one of my favorite afternoons (John & Molly!).
- Groovy Rooftop, Paris. I think it was at the National Archive building, but I can’t be sure.
- Sneaking up on Notre Dame, Paris. Even from the back, and down the street, it’s imposing.
- Charming Street, Paris. Every time I see this I want to pack up and move. But only if I can live RIGHT THERE.
- Street Performer, Paris. Note that I caught him poking someone. Statue, indeed…
- Cruising the Seine, Paris. We should all do this at least once.
- Spinfluence tested, Chewbacca approved.

Brings back some good memories of my own trip to Paris
Ahh, what’s not to love?
I love France and your splendid presentation thereof! Je suis jealous!
Ha ha! You should love them, since you helped me choose them!
