LikeLike beyondpaisley – Author February 22, 2013 No eavesdropping necessary! She was so loud I could hear everything she was saying from fifteen feet away. LikeLike cathmae February 22, 2013 Small world! You were eating a meal in the same restaurant as my former employee! It wasn’t just her volume, it was her pitch too. She is the only person who has ever given me an actual pain in my ear canal – I’m serious. I love the drawing…. the cell phone, the people about to drop dead… so great! LikeLike beyondpaisley – Author February 22, 2013 When I showed this cartoon to George he sort of smiled and said, “Yup, that’s pretty much how I remember it.” LOL *sigh* She was sooo loud! We were relieved they were finishing their meals when we got there because honestly? If I had to sit there much longer I don’t know if I could have contained myself. The redhead begging for the mercy killing in my cartoon? Yeah. That’s me. LOL LikeLike hazeldazel February 22, 2013 that’s when my husband usually goes “LIKE, OMG!!! LIKE, I WONDER WHAT HAIR VOLUMIZER THAT GIRL IS USING!!! LIKE, I COULD TOTALLY USE SOME!” (note: his hair is Capt Picard short) and then just to be snarky I would reply “OMG! DID YOU WATCH PRETTY LITTLE LIARS?!?!? I TOTES LOVE THAT SHOW!!!” gawd. it’s usually chicks with Juicy written on their butt or a Bieber t-shirt. Makes me stabby. LikeLike beyondpaisley – Author February 23, 2013 You’re so much fun when you’re stabby! LikeLike Garzilla February 23, 2013 “Normal volume with kids” puts it all in perspective for me. If I think any further about this graceless alliance of excessive volume, grating pitch/timbre and vacuous content, it will induce the mother of all migraines. Yes, your portrayal is THAT good! LikeLike beyondpaisley – Author February 23, 2013 This makes me both happy and sad. Happy, because you think it’s good. Sad, because it’s accurate. Sigh. George and I were ready to hit ourselves in the head with hammers to make the noise stop. LikeLike Jason February 23, 2013 Seriouslaaay, that’s like literrallalay the best thing ever… oh mah gahd. LikeLike beyondpaisley – Author February 23, 2013 LIKE OMG I WAS TOTALLY SO LUCKY! I totally got to hear all the pearls of wisdom that fell from her lips. It was impressive how much she didn’t ever stop talking, too. LikeLike marjorie February 23, 2013 Funny, sad, true. LikeLike beyondpaisley – Author February 23, 2013 Indeed. Sigh. We’ll see if I get any more material… LikeLike Brad Ross-MacLeod March 7, 2013 Brad is a perfectly decent name… LikeLike beyondpaisley – Author March 7, 2013 HAHAHAHAHA! Not in this context it wasn’t. With (relatively) normal people, it’s totally respectable. LikeLike Leave a Reply to Brad Ross-MacLeod Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
